Our director, Gulfraz Hussain, spent 15 years with British Gas, and he leads a team that takes pride in doing things properly: checking every connection, testing every appliance and leaving each home safe, warm and tidy.

Landlords are legally required to renew their gas safety certificate every 12 months. Register your renewal date below and we will contact you before it is due, free of charge.

Diagnosis and repair of boiler faults, error codes, pressure problems and no heating or hot water. The call-out charge covers the visit and diagnosis; we quote for parts before fitting them.

Gulfraz Hussain
Director and Gas Safe registered engineer
Gulfraz worked as an engineer with British Gas for 15 years, gaining extensive experience of boilers, heating systems and gas appliances in homes and commercial premises. Over that time he learned what customers value most: an engineer who arrives on time, explains the problem honestly and completes the work properly.
With living costs rising, he saw households, landlords and businesses paying more for the same work. He founded GHF Connect Ltd to provide the standard of service he delivered at British Gas at a fair and affordable price. He believes that, during a period of high inflation, a responsible local company should keep costs down for customers without ever cutting corners on safety or workmanship.
Today GHF Connect works for homeowners, landlords and letting agents, businesses and housing associations, and with companies including Mega Ark Construction and London Property Management Ltd. Gulfraz remains closely involved in day-to-day work across London and Nottingham, ensuring every job meets the company’s standards.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced, full-time Gas Engineer to join our family-run team. You will work across London and Nottingham on homes, rental properties, businesses and housing association buildings, carrying out installations, servicing, repairs and safety checks to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Install, service and repair gas boilers and heating systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Carry out landlord gas safety checks and issue gas safety certificates (CP12).
- Diagnose and repair faults, including emergency call-outs on a shared rota.
- Complete job paperwork and certificates accurately and on time.
- Provide clear, honest advice and leave every site clean and tidy.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a gas engineer.
- Experience working in both residential and commercial properties.
- A full UK driving licence, held for at least 2 years.
- Current Gas Safe registration.
- Relevant, in-date qualifications for domestic and commercial gas work.
Desirable
- Unvented hot water certification.
- Water Regulations training.
- Experience with landlords, letting agents or housing associations.
